11-day ferry trip to Santiago, Fogo & Brava
Discover the southern islands from the sea
On this specially designed South Island tour you will discover
three of the nine inhabited Cape Verde islands:
The largest island Santiago with the capital Praia and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Cidade Velha, the fire island Fogo with the stratovolcano Pico Grande and the still undiscovered flower island Brava.
And all by ferry! A comparatively climate-friendly way to discover the islands, travelling in a straight line across the Atlantic, always heading for the next island.
Travelling by ferry is exciting and relaxing at the same time. Let yourself be infected by the Cape Verdean hospitality on land and at sea, enjoy locally grown produce and look forward to experiencing nature and culture.
Follow in the footsteps of Charles Darwin: Black lava beaches, tropical vegetation with pastureland, grapevines, banana and coffee plantations, mysterious forests, impressive volcanic formations, pastel-coloured colonial architecture, the unmistakable Cape Verdean leisureliness, maritime flora and fauna, easy hikes, contact with the local population, romantic seclusion, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cidade Velha - during this eventful island tour you will visit the colonial past, marvel at the wide range of landscapes and gain a variety of impressions of island life in the middle of the Atlantic.
"Ciao e até já" as we say in Cape Verde. See you soon!
The islands and we look forward to seeing you!
